About

Since its inception in 1991, more than 3,200 pieces of artwork have been purchased by Works of Heart patrons. This year the auction will surpass $1,000,000 in total sales, and with the additional support of our financial partners, 100% of the proceeds from your contributions provide valuable funding to the Alliance of AIDS Services-Carolina (AAS-C) and its programs providing direct care, housing, education, prevention and faith ministries.

Your participation is vitally important to the success of this event and AAS-C itself. Today, the organization’s three-county service area—Wake, Durham and Orange—report 2,800 families in the Triangle living with HIV/AIDS. Over 1,100 are included on AAS-C’s client roster.

With Raleigh’s Progress Energy Center for the Performing Arts as its home venue, Works of Heart is unmatched in size, artist and community involvement, excitement and sheer “sparkle.”

We invite you to join us in 2008. Works of Heart and everyone at AAS-C is dedicated to remembering those lost, those living, and those we must still protect.
