The Art Advocates met for their initial meeting last Thursday at Humble Pie in downtown Raleigh. Art Chair Adam Cave, briefed everyone on the changes to the jurying process that should make Works of Heart a resume-building event and solidify its stand as the region’s “Premiere Charity Art Auction.”

The Auction’s primary list of art donors was divided amongst the Advocates and new names were introduced. The role of the Advocates is to communicate all auction news and dates to the artists and arrange transportation of artwork as needed.

The 2008 Advocates include Charlie Blunt, Molly Miller, Lauren Turner, Rachel Berry, Dan Fulkerson, Adrian Brown, Mary Kay Kennedy.
